Probably going to depend on how much you lower it from stock. The lower you go the more negative camber you're going to have. Mine was very close to being in spec. Some of the R/T folks using SRT springs aren't having that issue but they may not be going as low either.

So I'm wondering if you have issues with your tires rubbing in the front. I have an SRT challenger with 22's and was thinking about putting st coilovers on it. Most of you guys have the r/t and I don't know if the srt application is much different.

I have a 2013 SRT8 Core with the Mopar stage 2 lowering kit installed. I've been very happy with the mod, the car handles like it's on rails and has little or no body roll even under heavy Gs. However, Beast is a garage queen. It only comes out when the weather is great, and I'm not in a position where I have to drive it on poorly maintained roads, or deal with unforeseen hazards, and it has still taken a few nasty undercarriage hits and scuffed the bottom of the front air dam in only 3700 miles. I love the mod, and would happily do it again, but I would not if I was using it as a daily driver. (In New England I don't think a Challenger is a reasonable daily driver anyway)

Lowering just the rear by one inch

My problem was. I got eibach sport line got me nice n low. Like iver 2 inches. But didnt get the upgraded shocks til way later..makes all the difference
I have a 2012 RT, and I kept my 20x8 rims...painted them jet black....added 20mm spacers all around and put 275/40R20 Nexxen N'fera SU1's all around. Great tires...waaaaaay better than the stock Goodyear Eagle F1's. Now the look is amazing...but now I'm looking at my car and seeing that I might need to lower the rear only 1 inch, cuz the front looks amazing. Please keep in mind that 275/40R20 is the EXACT diameter as the stock 245/45R20's...just wider.

Does it make sense to you to just lower the rear by an inch...as in getting buying a set of shorter springs...possibly the SRT ones you all are talking about????

Please help.

I used hurst 1" lowering springs, and I'm not very happy with the ride quality. It's way too stiff. I would either buy coil overs from the start, or take stock springs and cut them.

And scraping my long tubes on speed bumps gets really annoying too

FYI, the drop will vary from MY and trim. The older ones will drop more while the new ones will only drop less than an inch with most springs. If your car came with nivomats and you replaced the shock and springs, you'd see much more drop. So when you say my car dropped x number, specify make, model, and trim.

I used the Eibach Pro System (springs, struts, and sway bars) on both my '09 R/T and my '10 R/T.
The amount of drop was perfect (low enough to close the gap in the wheel well, but not too low making it hard to live with).
The car cornered better and the ride was only a little more firm.
Very happy with this setup.
Nice! I just ordered the eibach pro system plus for my 2010 RT .
