As many of you know Livernois Motorsports is known far and wide for our experience in all of the late model performance vehicles on todays market but alot of you do not know how in depth we go with the builds we do here and all of the precautions we make to ensure the best customer experience for you! We are known for doing builds of all types rather they are big or small and alot of you have been asking what makes our record setting 2016 charger scat pack so special so we figured we would break it down for you!

Since we have alot of experience with the 6.4L Motors we already know that the biggest weak link is going to be the rods, pistons, and the compression distance of the rings, so first things first we drop the motor and transmission out of the vehicle and start the tear down process for our custom drop in piston and rod kit!

Many of you have seen my post in this forum already about our custom designed drop in piston and rod upgrade kit for the 6.4L but for those of you that heres a little background and infromation. This kit is designed and engineered to be a perfect fit for your existing 6.4L Hemi engine. The components are designed to exactly match the weight of the stock components, allowing the pistons and rods to be installed in the engine without having to remove or balance the crankshaft.In addition to the built in balance of the components, the pistons have also been designed to be a perfect drop in fit for your existing 6.4L Hemi engine. The pistons have the appropriate piston to wall clearance built in, so all you need to do is install them, no machining of the block necessary. This kit allows replacing the weak factory rods and pistons with heavy duty, custom engineered replacements, built for power adders, all without requiring any machining work on the block, or balancing of the stock crankshaft. The kit includes Stainless Steel Ringset (Boost Ready), Tri-Metal Performance Rod Bearings, H-Beam Forged Connecting Rods, and of course our custom 6.4L Hemi Pistons (Built for boost, 2618 material, thicker ringlands, coatings, heavy wall pin), our pistons also include a specially designed low friction graphite coating on the sides of the pistons and on the topceramic heat rejection coating!

the drop in kit is completed on the engine we assemble everything back to a complete long block and reinstall the engine and add our whipple supercharger for a nice clean look, this car also includes our special fuel system upgrade and runs off of our custom flex fuel upgrade tuned by our own proprietary software that we developed from the ground up, we are currently the only company provided true flex fuel tunes for these vehicles. ] step is to take the car to the track and break records! We have made countless passes in our own shop car and ive made several passes with my own personal car with nitrous and have not had any issues with either of these vehicles on the stock transmission, they are very strudy but its all in the calibration on how they handle everything
