Quick question Monty--you leave the stock Eagle springs on there or swap? I know they are untouched otherwise. I am contemplating this for my next project.

Looks good. Looking forward to feedback on performance of the stock head install. No matter what, you have all the right pieces to keep building even more HP, smart choices bud. Happy motoring.

If I may ask, does anyone know the final scoop on the eagle heads? Are the ports the exact same as 6.1 heads? Also, wasn't clear on why you went with the 6.1 manifold over the eagle manifold (other than the 6.1 looks absolutely awesome).

Also, do the early 5.7s use the thick foam rubber pad under the intake like used on the eagle 5.7?

Really curious to hear how much the eagle heads wake up the earlier 5.7 ...
