the only guess i've heard on that is "high beam duty"
i don't know why that'd really be necessary though... if they were going to keep track of high beam use, they should keep track of low beams too, no? Unless it's only there because the high beams are used as DRL's when it's enabled. So there's my guess.

Cheers everybody! :thumbs_u:
Once again congratulations for great help given here to 300C owners worldwide - even in third world countries.

Just enabled my auto headlights mod, and related to it i would like to adjust the light intensity on which the lights are being switched on.

My guess is that it should be done from the display i post here, but before doing anything wrong i would like to have an explanation on the display.

Thanks.
Quick question, I searched the Easter egg and don't have the lightsens option visible on my 4.12 software, I am aware of the Autolight fix but it looks like it may not work with Graz built right hookers?

software update ??

I'm pretty sure Dodge won't upgrade my software without a reason, Sooo, what would be a reason ( one I could invoke, without injury to the car ) ? I just gotta get that 0-60 function !!

Try saying that the temperature display is slow to update and up to 10* off, and that a friend of yours had this problem and had a flash done and it was fixed after. TSB 08-026-04 deals with this. As long as you don't have software version 3.61 or better you may be fine. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE YOU WILL GET THE EXTRA DIAGNOSTIC READOUTS. Another thing you can claim, which is funny but actually part of the same TSB, that the French language translations are indeciferable. Say that your wife is learning French and is trying to read the EVIC displays in French.

My recent EVIC Diagnostic mode experience in a 2007 300C

This week at my new Chrysler dealer I did a used car prep on a 2007 Chrysler 300C AWD. It was practically fully loaded, the only options it did not have were HID headlights and U-Connect. While messing around with the EVIC, the average economy screen had a message pop up "FUEL SAVER MODE" when it dropped into MDS. In the diagnostic mode, I was surprised to see a performance/economy meter. As you drove the meter changed. It was a bar graph and the words alternating "PERFORMANCE" and "ECONOMY". I was surprised to see the 0-60 timer on this car, considering it was not an SRT8. There was also a voltmeter with full bar graph like the oil pressure and temp. readouts. I so want to put in an EVIC cluster and system now, but I have to keep my priorities straight.
:modding:
1. Daytona Exhaust
2. Snow tires on cop wheels
3. EVIC cluster and system.
Don't know the build date or version of this car. If I get a chance, I'll check it again.

no amount of flashing will get you that function. you'll need an '07 or newer cluster for that.
btw, 3.61 is the latest you can flash your '05 to.
I have an 05 RT with Nav with a build date of 11/04 and I can't get the diagnostic mode at all. I have no way of checking the version either...
If I bought a 2007 gauge cluster would I then get all the features incl. 0-60?

do you have EVIC? (steering wheel mounted switches)
AFAIK, swapping an EVIC cluster into yours (without EVIC) may prove more difficult than it's worth.
if you do have EVIC, you'd have to get someone (IIRC, Dominic @ TV&NAV2go) to program it for you.

backtofuture

Thanks for the details on the EVIC diagnostic codes. I have ordered a 09 Challenger R/T with the electronics convenience group. Can you tell me if my electronic display will show me my 1/4 mile time, G-Forces etc. like the SRT-8? My dealer can not tell me for sure. Thanks for any help you can give. Once my order goes into production, no more changes...

by dmag : "Observation of the MinL/MinR values shows that:
1) they will reset to 181 after filling up
2) the values will stay at 181 until about 50 pints, then will slowly increase to a max of somewhere around 199 (the highest number reported thus far). Even with very little fuel in the right tank (i.e., hovering around 0, but occasionally fluctuating between 0 to 5 pints), the MinR value will be around 195 to 196.
3) this corresponds with the service manual statement that resistance increases as fuel level falls."

my gauge have this read a full tanks

avg is max 150 but my gauge if full. ?

Software version is 3.61

is normal?
