Hi folks, here is my new Alpine IVA-W205 head unit. It was installed by Eric Holdaway and his crew at Speakerworks in Orange. It is the best unit I have ever had...the sound is awesome. I even have the I-pod cable installed so I can go ahead and listen to music through my I-pod. The head and installation cost me about $1300.00 and that includes the black navigation bezel that I used to replace the stock silver one...and this is just the beginning. I am building the ultimate SQ system and money is no object. Anyways, here are some pictures...

Why didint you install it yourself?? Next to door speakers installation its one of the easiest to do.
The reason why is because of two things:

1) I didn't have the time because I work full-time and I am a full-time student, plus I also play in a band too so my time is limited.

2) I wanted to make sure that is was properly installed and by them doing it, if any problems occurred, then the guys at speakerworks are more that able to fix it.

You definitely went to the right place if you are doing sound quality. Got to hear several vehicles that they did years ago. Awesome. Harry Kimura's Acura Legend and Richard Clark's Buick Grand National were amazing.
Tell me about it! The guys over there are incredible and their work second to none. The right installer is important because I plan on spending about $12,000 to $15,000 on this stereo system. I will be using the PXA-H701 or the PXE-H650, then as far as additional equipment, I am getting the following: A pair of USD Audio WaveGuide A-800, A pair of Morel Supremo SW 9" woofers, A Zapco C2K-4.0X amp with symbilink , A Zapco C2K-9.0XD amp with symbilink , A pair of JL Audio 13W6v2 in an aperiodic enclosure, and a pair of really good 6x9's for the back deck for rear fill purposes.
