I'm sure this has been asked multiple times. On the 6.4 Hemi do the guys with Mid Mufflers deleted notice an actual power loss or worst 0-60 times? I have seen RP Productions on YouTube says yes but that was with an CAI that was installed at the same time. I have heard others say it's not truth or they don't have a power loss.

My other question is would it be ok to do a muffler delete a few days after taking delivery of my new Daytona 392?

Thanks for everything looking forward to getting into mopar vehicles!

People saying they lost power are fools plain and simple. You are replacing straight pipe with fiberglass wrapped around it with straight pipe without fiberglass wrapped around it. Not to mention that even if there was power loss it would be so slight they’d never feel it.

Personally I would wait and see if you like the stock exhaust. From 2015 up there is a big difference in the size and sound. I had a '13 R/T with Corsa Extreme and it didn't sound near as good as my '15 SRT. I know the motor is bigger but it just sounds good. I've heard and read many articles about this and it seems like doing this mod makes the exhaust sound a little raspy.

New 2018 SP owner here. I've thought about doing the delete but the current stock exhaust sounds so incredible, I'm a bit hesitant to mess with what I consider perfection. I also want to be considerate to my neighbors, would the delete make it ridiculously louder and potentially piss some neighbors off?

it's just piping, it's not ruined forever? if you want to put it back they just cut it off and re weld... but you won't want to do that.

as for power loss, nope. I had stock on my SP and my daytona with bullets runs the exact same times on the same roads.

I went with the bullets instead of delete but I believe the results are very similar.

it sounds awesome stock, but it just gets more awesome with delete or bullets.

yes one of my neighbors finally said something to me today matter of fact... he's cool and a semi car guy so I don't think it's the end of the world. they just moved in a few weeks ago and he said at first it was a little annoying but he says now it's like a train, after a while you adjust and don't notice it LOL....

I know my other neighbors are bothered by it but they do things that bother me, i.e. barking dogs, landscape issues etc. so I'm not inclined to take it off for them.. at least not at the moment. I usually don't leave for work until about 830 or 900 so I believe that's business hours by then anyhow?
