Hate to say this but you can get them for under $10 at Ali Express for the 392.. or Ali Express for the R/T... Yup from China but I bet they are one in the same as Quirk Parts are selling and yes you will have to wait for them to get here. All my badge upgrades are from Ali Express.

Example... I just bought a butt stock for an AR with a cheek rest for $36 with free shipping that I saw at the gun show for over $100. It's taken 3 weeks to get here.
Meh, to each their own.. I like OEM and have had bad experiences with some knockoffs..

The replacement OEM 392 badging was nice as it came in a foam template.. makes it easy to install without worrying about alignment of the individual 3 - 9 - 2 numbers above the HEMI piece.. just tape off the original on all four sides with painters tape so you can put new badge in same spot..

not handy... I'll try tomorrow as you have to remove the black clips that hold the plastic piece under the fender... it's not hard to splice in as that piece unclips from the fog light so you can do the splice in while you have that piece off the car. basically just spliced the 2 wires, added the led wire in, then re-taped it all back up with electrical tape as it was from factory.

Ordered both from QuirkParts on eBay:

392 HEMI badge (392 is a satin finish, but HEMI is glossy - I got used to it; price is same as in '16):

Mopar part # 68216931AA
eBay item # 321699148212

R/T badge (matches black factory Charger trunk badge - price has gone up significantly; I paid $24 in '16):

Mopar part # 68291001AA
eBay item # 191930814449

Appreciate it! Is the 392 a dark silver? I actually had that part number saved, but it looks dark silver rather than satin black.

Looks great on your car though!!

It looks more like a gradient silver/black if that makes sense.. I was initially concerned it wouldn't look right, but I think the color scheme looks good next to my wheels.

Awesome, thanks! How did you secure it in the opening?

It comes with a sticky backing. It's very strong. In fact I peeled it off today and moved it further back and it stuck fine on the second go around lol... hopefully I don't have to move it again or it might get sketchy, just waiting for dark to test it out

You may want to check the packaging... Not much is made in the US. I have found a lot my GM/Mopar parts , with MADE IN... Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, Canada etc. Now agreed the parts may be made to GM/Mopar specs which may or may not match the not GM/Mopar logo'd parts. Emblems , Badges and decals not a lot of difference there. I would say the bulk of the cost from the dealer is due to the GM/Mopar logo on the package.

I have a 08 Corvette that I went thru the same thing when i needed some new badges

Never said any of it was made in the USA, and expect most parts are not - these two items show Korea and China.. Again, to each their own and good luck with your GM(?)..

Here's the foam template I was talking about..

So you paid $50+ for a foam template... Dang a couple pieces of pin striping tape would have worked.

I also update the quoted post above... Fixed a few finger checks (small phone keyboard), missing words (brain is faster than my fingers) and few other things. Blame it on age! LMAO

Do you have the tazer? adding that to the light show with the fogs would be cool.
Yes I do. Tazer is the best! Yes, the light show now looks really cool.

Looks badass! Ordered my LEDs a few minutes ago.. thanks again for the info!

Thanks and good luck.
Here's a pic of the final spot of the led.
I almost think it should be even further back to maybe be angled a little better to be brighter but I already moved it once and it might lose its stickiness.
I also forgot to tell you I lined the "shelf" area in there with some black hydro turf. My cousin said before he did that it was reflecting way too much. I didn't see it on his before he did that so I don't know but I think this combo is good , it glows nicely without being too bright. Post pics once you're done
