I need a pair of Getrag axles 226mm .part number : 4578732AE and 4578733AE
Same part different part numbers:

4578732 AE = 68194754aa, 4578732ab,4578732ac,4578732ad
4578733ae = 68194755aa, 4578733ab,4578733ac

all those are the same part.... maybe different years or model.

look it up at moparts if you do not believe it.

Except for Mopar, NOBODY has these. I've searched high and low, online/phone/in person. New/rebuilt/used. Nothing/nada/jacksh*t. If Cardone or Suretrack had cores, they'd be about $150 each. But, at the moment, if you want them, you've either got to get real lucky or pay the piper. :(

Go to the wrecking yard, you maybe find them. usually the axles still have the part number on them.

Why are you set on getting that exact part number? Try any getrag axles they will work bud!!! No joke would make things work faster for you

I've tried that. I work at Federated auto parts. Had our local recycler, who is one of our accounts, look into their parts locator system. Also, Car-Part.com. Found a very few but for what they want plus shipping, you might as well go get shook down at Mopar.

I would consider that if there weren't eleventy different spline combos. All research I've done plus a call to Skip White point to these specific axles. If I could find the spline count on the diff end of a Getrag axle and the spline count on the hub bearing end of a '09.5 and later upgraded hub, I might give it a whirl. But, this info seems like a CIA secret.

Hmm really wow what year is your diff from? Maybe you should sell to get another one they are fairly cheap from auto wrecks these days

Your weird dude!!! Is that some sort of response? Your the one with the issues not anyone else and this was your response...... your the one who claims your axles don't fit the splines counts are not the same! AND A FYI my getrag is from a 2009 and I never had any issues finding axles.

Wow. I never said they were hard to find. I said trying to find one that isn't from Mopar, (read: expensive), are hard to find. I sincerely apologize for offending your ever so delicate sensibilities. Next time, try decaf.

Yeah. He's fresh out at the moment and they don't even hit the ground before shipping out.

I feel your pain. The install on my upgrade is just about to begin after chasing parts for months. Another thing that I discovered in this process, the used hubs are the hardest to find. Several sources would not even sell them to me with the diff and axles since all of them go for brembo upgrades. I ended up just buying new hubs from Mopar. In the end, the best deal may just be to get entire '15 or newer Scat Pact/Hellcat rear cradle. The prices that I have seen ran from $800 (posted for a few hours on Lx swap meet) to $2500 (from a supposed theft recovery). The rear cradle swap does require a custom driveshaft as well. Think of it as a treasure hunt. And yes, there are pirates out there.

Mercifully, when I spoke to Josh at Skip White and IIRC 'cuz I have a cop car, I already have the correct hubs and the 3 point flanges are obvious. So, I went for this mod as I "only" need the diff, axles and coupler. As a side note, that coupler is pretty outrageous, too. And, of course, is all but absent from used/aftermarket segment. :(

Hello,
does anyone know splines number of both shaft?

if i search with oem ref (4578732 and 4578733), i found 30 (diff) and 27 (hub)
But if i search after market part (gforce), i found 31 (diff) and 32 (hub)

My car is a 2012 Charge srt8 with oem diff and wheel hubs

Thank you

I have this in my notes, but when you read it, it doesn't actually make sense to me but it might help ?

"
05-08, no (difference between SRT and regular)...in 09, yes. In 09 they increased the SRT to 31 spline at the hub end and went to the Getrag which has a 226mm ring gear. On the 09 R/T, they increase the spline count to 31 at the hub, and stuck with the 215mm Mett. rear, but modified the housing somewhat. Hence why Quaife has two offerings on their LSD for the 215mm.

The 06 are 27 spline, SE trim or srt

29\30 spline didn't come till 09 and up models"

whatever you have its definitely not 27 spline at the hub

Ok. Thank you

So definitely not the oem équivalent part i found, and maybe gforce is right.

it's a bit annoying that the OEM parts sites (mopargiant, tascapart,...) do not put the spline number

Yes, but they have "compatible" axles for my 2012 charger srt8 that are 33/27, or 32/30, and also axles for the front...so i don't trust them.
Splines number are not specified for oem mopar reference

Found these guys also.. Anybody tried TrakMotive?
|Home | TrakMotive
On rockauto, the ones that fit my car are 33/27, so they will not fit for sure

On trakmotive website :
rear left CH-8281 => 33/27
rear right CH-8244 => 32/30
But they also have front axles for a 2012 charger srt8, which has never been AWD...what can i say more about my trust on Trakmotive...

OEM 4779572AB rear wheel hubs are 32 splines, so CH-8281 will not fir for sure. For CH-8244, i found a comment on summitracing of someone who bought Duralast (seems to be 32/30) that didn't fit. So oem must be like Gforce, 32/31
