Colored tire smoke.

So the wife went and got herself pregnant again (yes I blame her, I'm entirely innocent in this!), so we've been discussing gender reveal ideas and while I realize the gender reveal burnout has been done before, I'm up for any excuse to do a burnout...(I should buy stock in a tire company). My question is has anybody come up with a method of coloring tire smoke temporarily rather than spending $500+ on a set of one time use novelty tires?

I lost count after 22 sets of tires, but what to heck, bite the bullet, 1 red, 1 blue tire, get some of the gasoline additive that makes your exhaust smell like perfume, too.

I'm surprised, I would've expected at least a few crazy ideas or comments with all of the other dads and tire smokers around here.

You could fill a white or black balloon with colored powder chalk. Put them in from of the rear tires and do a burnout over them.

I don't know if it'll work but it's an idea.
Hmm, I think the chalk would just end up a all over the ground, but it might be worth a test run.

Well it was for a good cause so I did some research, afraid to report colored smoke tires was all I could find. There are a few other ideas though that won't be the actual tires doing it. You could get some colored smoke bombs and let off under the back tires then light them up and let it mix....it's all I got.

But congrats all the same!

Thank you and thank you for the effort, I hunted around last week but all I found was the same and with colored smoke tires starting at $240ea (in sizes too small to fit a rim that will clear our rotors) and going up rapidly from there I let that idea go.

I don't know any way to color tire smoke except the tires themself but did recently see a video where they put the chalk into the exhaust tail pipes then made the vid of the car starting and revving up blowing out the color
I hadn't seen that one, I'll have to check it out.
