They work! I had that size on all four corners at one point now i have that size on just the rear and 245/45/20's on the front.... Never had any problems!
lol i wouldnt put a 275/45/20 on the front it will mostly likely rub the control arm bolt. i have that size on the rear, it fill in the gab between the wheel and tire and looks very good to have a nice beefy tire in the back, imo.
That size is too tall for the front. Most LXers run 275-40-20, not 45 series. 275-40-20 is the same height as 245-45-20 which is the factory tire for SRTs.
ive done alot of research on this. most people never have problems with rubbing at all with a 275 at the front, and it is rare to see a srt put a spacer on the front of the car. if i were you i would run a 245 or 255 front them go for a 275-305 on the back.
I had the 275/40's on the front and the 3MM didnt work, you dont want the tire to touch that Knuckle arm. I then used a 5MM, but didnt like the way the ride felt (my opinion ). Like CROCOP said, stick with the 345 or 255's + 3MM spacer.
Thanks all - any other thoughts regarding 275/40/20 on SRT8 wheels on the front of a standard 300c?
