Swapping my 2010 3.5 challenger to a 5.7. Have all the parts etc except an ecm. Will an ecm from a charger work? I see they use a different part # but come from the same family. Car is an auto, same engine as the charger etc.

As long as the PCM came from the same 2010 the engine did, No issues. Make sure you match features as close as possible.
Gonna have to make some changes like setting the 2nd displacement scalar to match the original 3.6 to keep it from throwing ABS/ESP warnings.
Engine is from a 2012 challenger rt, manual car, so no mds and has a 6.4 cam. I know I'll have to do some tuning for that. Has the same part # on the pcm before the update.

Just for anyone who does this swap in the future... the charger pcm and tcm I used worked perfect. I had went to a challenger 5.7 abs module, but still had abs eps etc lights. I had to change the pcm to show 3.5 to the fcm using hp tuners. Had no idea what the 2nd scalar mentioned above meant, but looked through tables and found where it said engine size, displacement and was able to change to 3.5 and instantly once I loaded the update with hptuners, no more dash lights.
