So I know that this topic has come up quite a bit. But I've tried literally everything.
I recently purchased my magnum r/t with 67000 miles about two weeks ago.
My last vehicle was a 2010 charger sxt with the 3.5. And on the charger I could completely turn off the traction control esp/bas everything with a turn of the key going at least 10 mph. But on the magnum I can't seem turn it completely off. I tried pushing the traction control button for 15 seconds, in drive, park, and going at least 15 mph and no dice. I've also turned the key while driving at least 15 and also nothing.
PLEASE HELP!!

Traction control cannot be completely turned off unless you have a programmer.

I can turn mine off by turning the key to the start position while the car is running and it will shut off system completely until I shut the car off, I know it works cause then i can do burn out without the traction control trying to engage.

The No Esp mod is a less expensive option but if you want to play around with other things or get a custom tune programmer is the way to go. It also is good
for reading CEL codes and clearing them.

The better thing about NoESP is you don't have to flash the PCM each time you want a change. The ESP/BAS system works well to control the vehicle when daily driving. When you want a burn out, just push and hold the button 5 seconds.

X-2 I have the NoESP mod myself. Was one of the best purchases I have made. I have a predator also but as Hal'sMag mentioned, the NoESP mod is much better. Using a programmer will disable ESP, but you have to use the programmer to retrieve it. I would not do every day driving without the ESP engaged.

I guess I'm the crazy one driving without ESP on a daily driver, especially in Florida during the rain season.

But it's so much fun.
