So i went out a few minutes ago and did some runs in an industrial secluded area on an empty street...i did my first run and recorded it on my fone (now gotta find a converter for the file)...but on that run i had no wheel spin...but i dont know exactly how long it took me to get there since the fone doesnt have anything less than seconds...
the second run i recorded with my camera and if i go frame by frame on the video editing software i hit 60 @6.2s...but i had wheel spin till i hit 40mph...grrr...besides taking out the mufflers and resonators all i have is a drop in kn filter....does this seem ok to u??...i'm not complaining or anything...just wondering:)

When I 1st got my Daytona all I had was a Superchips, lower temp TSTA & fan mod & I think about 6 flat was the best it would do so yeah 6.2 is pretty respectable for nearly stock car.

Put a lower temp TSTAT in it ($13 & a 6 minute job, watch my video) W/the 25 cent fan mod to keep her cool. Then lower the tire pressure in the rears to 26 psi.

I'll bet you can get it under 6 seconds W/some practice.

I tried doing what you did by video recording the spedo doing 0-60 and look at it on the computer to see how fast it was. Except I compared the times to what I ran on Superchips. Superchips was almost a half second faster. I think it is because the speedometer lags behind a little when accelerating hard.

Since I don't have SC any more I found another way that works really good. I did a data log of me doing 0-60 with my diablo. I downloaded a program that can record what is on your computer screen then I played the data log and recorded it. I then cropped the video so only the 0-60 part was left and it said 5.1 seconds. And that seems about right for my modifications.
