I plan on buying the ZEX nitrous kit for my mag, (125 shot). Is nitrous a safe way to go for power?? I have to ask, because what i hear from alot of people is how dangerous it is for your car and how it can mess it up, is this true? i also know people who have nitrous and have been running it on their cars for years with no problems. Is the 125 shot gonna be something i will regret in the future? or will i not have to be worried everytime i flip the switch?

Hopefully someone can answer my questions who either has this kit or anything similar on their lx's or is very knowledgable on the subject. Also, I have been hearing good things about ZEX so thats why i have decided on them, but is their any other competitor worth checking out?

100 shot has been proven to be OK to use without the need to change anything.

125 will need computer adjustment.

100 shot will kick her right in the arse. It's safe if you use common sense. Don't shoot below 2800-3000 rpms, if you can up the octane you'll be very safe. I put a bottle of NOS brand octane booster in 16 gallons of the best gas that I can buy and only spray at the track. Hide the solenoids under the engine cover, remove spare tire and mount tank in that space. Tech has never spotted my install!
