In hillsboro we are probably about 10-11 of snow with about 3/8" ice crust on top. I was called into work and downtown portland doesn't have as much snow (probably 6-7 inches) and feels much colder than hillsboro.
I was plowing snow with the magnum (chained up) on my street so decided to park at a Max station take the MAX into town and bus up the hill. After seeing downtown I wish I would have plowed on, it would have only got better the close I got to Portland, would have been faster and warmer.

Glad you made it safe and sound. Hope your car isn't covered with 1/2" of ice when you get back to it!

At the Woodinville Costco there is a county sherriff driving a black chevy truck around the lot and you can hardly tell it's a cop. A couple of younger guys did a side ways spin at the front door and got a little talking too as we were walking up to the store front... Not sure if they were sited but the sherriff was none to happy about it. As he walked up to the truck the first words out of his mouth was " well I sure am impressed". :loser:

In Michigan, we have this, plus 5 more as we speak, plus 40mph winds, which will probably take what we have and drift it like crazy.

We put the photo's in photobucker or some other free web photo hosting site then use the Insert Image icon in the reply area to copy the Direct Link into that and it will show in your post.

Holy crap!!! We've got 12" in Poulsbo and it's still coming down! I don't feel like I'm in Kansas anymore... oh wait, doesn't Kansas get a whole hell of a lot more snow than us?!?!?!?
As long as I'm sitting by the fire drinking my wine and eating my goldfish crackers while the hubby is out shoveling the driveway I could care less. hehehe...

Personally, I use Photobucket.com. I'm not sure where photobucker will take you! :tinfoilhat:
I've been contemplating opening a bottle of wine myself. And... sending the wife out to shovel the driveway! :mrgreen:
