What is the loom of wires under the brake reservoir passing through the firewall go to?
Is that a plug in to pass through to the cabin?

It looks like it goes into the car so I would guess it's a passthrough

I have a Benjamin pump and It has been “squirrel jihad” around here ever since.

Do you know, does it terminate at a firewall plug, or do the wires pass through?

The assembly plugs into the TCM.

I’m trying to assess the $damage$ .
So THAT harness plugs into the TCM behind the firewall and the other end plugs into the NAG/trans?
Would that mean I could replace just that harness plug out, plug in?

I love the car and @205k it runs great, and they aren’t making any so it has to get fixed.

The harness runs straight from the twist lock connector on the front right of the trans, up over the trans and may or may not still be loomed up with the rest of the wiring that lays on the top of the trans bell, eventually breaks out of that and runs to the firewall, then just through the inside right to the TCM and plugs in

So, I would rather replace the entire loom rather than repair.
I have discovered this is a discontinued item.

That is a handy piece of info. I need to find a replacement harness.
