I'd like to gather some data as to what our members drove prior to owning their LX car. I'm curious if Chrysler brought in more then the average domestic sedan buyer.

In order to keep an accurate database of typical owners and their vehicle purchase habits, please advise what type of car you previously drove in the poll. Also, please post what LX vehicle you are currently driving (Charger, 300 or Magnum) Please also state what trim level (SE, SXT, R/T, Touring, C, SRT-8, etc etc)

If you bought your LX as an extra car and it does not directly replace a vehicle, please choose the vehicle you drive most BESIDES your LX.

I drove a company car from the Mitsubishi dealer I work for. Got tired of all the Jap crap. Turned in my company car, and now I use my car allowance for the Magnum. You should see all the looks I get when I drive this beautiful, big-ass station wagon on the lot at work. Might have influenced a couple of people to get an LX instead of a Mitsubishi...LOL

I'm currently driving a 96 impala ss until the SRT8 Charger comes in. I never thought I'd be driving anything but an LS2 for my next car, 'cuz that's an awesome engine and the aftermarket for it is huge; but the Charger has 4 doors and the GTO doesn't. If the GTO looked as good as the charger, I probably would have gone ahead and got one despite the two doors, but the fact is I can't tell it apart from a Grand Am without looking twice. The impy has an understated pizazz, but the pontiac execs got their priorities bass-ackwards in regards to the GTO - they were so concerned with making the Monaro look like a pontiac than they forgot about making the car look good, and that decision has come back to haunt them big time.

Anyway, despite the lack of an aftermarket, the performance potential of the new hemi is right there on a par with the LS2, so I was free to pick the car that not only had the right number of doors but also just looks kick-a$$!
