storing her for the winter under the cover but only detail i had left was the wheels. took um off and detailed outside and the inside, anti sieze on the mating surface to the hub and detailed the inside wheel wells and calipers before putting them back on.

Well, I took the tune out of my rt. I forgot how smooth the trans shifted stock.
Replaced the LFO tie rod end and had the alignment done.

I'm going to sum up the first week with my 08 Charger. A little history on the car first. Was wrecked 2 1/2 years ago and has been sitting untouched until a few weeks ago. Removed the right side doors, RF fender and bumper cover to swap good pieces on it. And this car only has 3500 miles on it.

Monday - Finished interior enough to drive it to my house.

Tuesday - Removed both front seatbelts. Finished nit picky interior dash pieces and such.

Wednesday - Installed good seatbelts. Cleaned the exterior for first time since parked 2 1/2 years ago. Bought temporary tag to get me thru holidays. Made changes on insurance to make sure I am covered.

Thursday - Cleaned exterior again and interior for first time. Was pretty nasty. Tried to align right side doors better so gaps are acceptable. Drank some beer.

Friday - Drove car to friends body shop so he can align gaps and doors. I obviously suck at it.

I'm sure I missed something as there were many small things to do but overall a very productive week.

Big day. Put in cam and headers. Just got done driving it a little. Can't stomp it till we dial the tune in but it feels strong.

three days ago i installed my new pistol grip shifter I bought from custom pistol grips. It was alot loser ontheshaft than promised, fit of the grips is off and the rear of the handle is scratched. I called and left amsg.........spent 180.00, im NOT satisfied at the moment.......yesterday after MUCH comunication questions, hypothosises, etc. I ordered a BIG cam, eagle ported heads, 1.75" LT headers, high flow cats, new lfters, 6.1 timing set, and loudmouth SRT8 cat back from Dave at modern muscle. Mango bill will be doing the install.......as s on as all parts arrive.
Today I ordered rear molded mudflaps from allUSA. I hope they cut down on the tire debris on my rear lower 1/4 panel. ANd I drove it liek I stole it. Some riceburner decided to annoyy me in traffic buy riding my backside ans swerving at 75 mph. plenty of open lanes to pick from so IDK WTF his prob was. when he finally pulled out to pass I hammered down until it shifted into fourth and watched him disappear in my RV .
Rant complete. thanks for listening.
BTW my car shifts from 3rd to fourth at 127 MPH on street tires and my new Getrag 3.06.

Finally got around to changing the tranny electrical plug and fogged drivers side mirror. Ordered a new filter for my CAI.

painted the grill inserts last night along with the gauge rings and the shifter cubby hole. then removed the grill inserts today to sand a paint again some other day and painted the steering wheel inserts from the satin silver to flat charcoal

Went out and found a completely dead battery in my 08 :sad: Freaked me out since the dash half way lit up and made some strange sounds. Jump start and OK--Walmart for a new battery:thumbs_u: Then find the Mygig lost all my music :roll: So its rip CD's and reload :blam:

Installed Motor's AFE, inner and outer tie rod ends, rear lift gate struts to my SRT Maggie and rear lift gate struts and transferred my K&N Typhoon to my fiance's RT Maggie. Putting new front struts on the SRT Mag on Monday hopefully.
