I started the day with some tire abuse on the way to work  :racing:

Followed that up with a wash, wax and a full detail. Emptied the catch can.

Your turn, What did you do.....?

Where did you get those quad tips from?!?!?!?
I got them off ebay. They are aftermarket Porsche 997 tips with a 2.5" inlet and 3.5" dual outlet. They are the most compact tip at about 5.75" long so they worked well.

This was a decent project since it required cutting the bumper openings. I also mounted them on the stock srt resonators so that required some creativity. Well worth it though. The original plan was to mount an e55 rear diffuser but I am happy with just the bumper cutouts and tips.

Thanks man. I also appreciate the extra info. I can use that to tell the shop what's required.

No problem, I am very curious to see how yours turns out if you have a shop do it.

Yeah that was time consuming but it came out good. I used a dremel cut off wheel then a 2" sanding mandrel on a drill, then 400 and 800 grit to finish the edges. I just got this in to finish the edges and it worked great:

I first used the edge trim from the auto parts store with fugitive "booger" glue but the ebay one in my post above grips better with no adhesive and just the claws to attach to the bumper. Both work well but I like the larger size of the ebay trim. The door edge trim with adhesive is below:

Yesterday, my engine temperature was climbing when stuck in traffic and started to decrease once on the move. Then my heater core sprayed coolant onto my legs felt like I dropped a hot coffee, kept topping up coolant level until I got home and bypassed the heater core as a temporary fix until I find the time to replace my heater core.
At least it still is drivable.

Sorry to hear that! How were you able to top off, was the system not under pressure? How bad of a job is the replacement?
I would suspect once the heater core let go the system was no longer able to pressurize! What a crummy deal. Surprised it's in a position where it can scald you with coolant when it fails; most designs I've seen it's contained within the ductwork well enough that when they let go, it drains out the condensate drain for the A/C evaporator core.

Welp.... after 120,000 miles, I got new brakes and rotors on my 05 magnum.
I waited a little to long, I’m guessing about 1000 miles, but, only had 1 rotor that was damaged.
The old girl has 219,500 miles on her, mostly highway, (obviously) ... lol...
I’m thinking this will be the last brake job for her, she is getting tired, but, I’m in no hurry to give her up.
Next, a new windshield, again!! Had a stone kicked up, then cold water on hot glass, we all know what happens
then... cracked right down the middle. That really sucks....

Looks nice there.

Im thinking of setting up a screen that sits in front of the radio and climate controls to run android on for the torque app for the track, that way i can use my phone for recording.

By chance do you know how to find the pids the trinity uses for logging on the tuner layout? The trinity has access to quite a few that i cant get in torque. like St and Lt knk and quite a few others.

The trinity is great and all but the screen is so small lol.

Havn't got that far yet but you can check the forum on diablosport.com. I know there is a listing of recommended PID's there to use for tuning but not sure if they have details on how to setup.
Got the driver and passenger airbag (recalls R25 / S43 ) done on my '06 300C SRT8. Also had them check for any updates the car might need since it's an early build car and as far I can tell, hasn't been back to the dealer for anything since 2007 at 7600 miles - I bought it just last October with only 9400 miles on it.

Revision #'s of the updates they did just for reference, dunno if it helps anybody out for any reason but I figure information never hurts. :)

PCM from 05030232AD to 05030232AF , TCM from 04692392AF to 04692392AK , FCM from 04692028AH to 04692028AM

Cost me $159.88 out the door (just for the updates of course) which isn't bad, considering they were trying to hit me for $250. Thanks to my working knowledge of these cars through the forums, as well as some quick help from a forum member that happens to work at a dealer (thanks Jerry!) it didn't turn out that way.

I initially thought I was going to have some less-than-nice things to say about the dealer (Allen Samuels in Katy TX) but overall things went well, especially considering I wanted to wait on the car instead of dropping it off. Hey; I took a book to read and just waited patiently. I also declined all the up-selling the service advisor tried to do; I know it's his job but I also know I didn't need a single bit of it. Got there at 8AM and they had me out of there a little bit after 10. Not bad.

I drive my car (06 Magnum RT) as a work car with my tools in the back. I work a lot of long hours so I am installed some cheap LED light bars in the back. I installed them in the top piece of trim just inside the rear door. The switch was installed in the from that covers the side curtain air bag inflators. Used them in the very next job to read prints in an unlit parking lot in a night shift.

Fought with my cutouts today.
Took the passenger side one off and tore it apart to regrease it and swap out any broken gears. Turns out the internals were fine, the grease was just garbage.

Got it all back together except i couldnt find my 2.5mm allen key so the connector piece from the output of the gearbox is loose and the butterfly wont seal.. and it rattles... the ****ing rattle.

Got too fed up out in the heat and gave up for today.

I hate these things, but i love that raw open sound.

Replaced sparkplugs... Not too exciting.
Switched my evic display colour. Red looked great at night but invisible in bright daylight so gonna try a blue using a purple gel sheet overlay.
I'd like to have a white display eventually as i think that would work but hard to figure out what colour of gel sheet required without a gel sheet swatch booklet.
Another question about this. So your gauges from BCC changed the Evic to red but then you used a purple gel sheet over the red and the oem mint green lighting ended up this color blue?

I've had all my lighting changed to blue, now I need to figure out what to do with my gauges.

No, I removed the red pc over the evic. Just purple over evic display which makes it closer to white. Still a bit difficult to see in super bright daylight depending on how sunlight hits the cluster but much better than the red.
