Changed my outer tie rods, tweaked the exhaust (it had a rattle), tried to clean the leather on the drivers seat (will have to look at other options). Washed, half waxed.
Wax other half tomorrow, oil change, clean interior.
Gave my ride a nice ONR bath in hopes of making it to the track tomorrow, but it looks like the weather doesn't want to cooperate. Hope next weekend's track plans work out better!
Took the plastic cowl off around the base of the windshield, degreased, washed, taped off the rubber molded to it and gave it a spray paint job of SEM black bumper coater (same paint I used on my rocker panels). The cowl was starting to turn white in some spots and now she looks factory new. Afterwards of reinstalling cowl,I opened up the doors and thumped some music loud. Then spray painted the wiper arms glossy black.
Attended Coffee & Cars with a F-40, F-50, and a Grumpert Apollo. Then I installed a front chin spoiler on another Charger, painted some lug nuts for a friend. Then I made a ash tray switch plate and painted a second one. Kind of a slow day.
Admired the handiwork of the master of disaster at work. Looked at a coetely gutted engine bay...I mean nothinmg, no power brake booster, no wires no thing not even front end. In the afternoon I admired picters of a big-arse blown motor sitting in the engine bay. Getting closer to pushing the button rto fire her up. Hopefully have a chance to drive it a bit before winter sets in.
