What do you do with battery tender to maintain battery? Is it a car that sits or are there benefits for regularly driven cars?
An actual 'smart charger' (Battery Tender brand is one) helps maintain the battery's health, even when vehicles are driven often. With a 'flooded battery' they help keep the plates clean. How? Alternators and standard battery chargers only charge to 80% for safety reasons. Smart Chargers have special circuitry that allows them to push the battery to 100% charge, helping clean the sulfates that collect on battery plates.

I perform 'maintenance charges' every quarter (usually overnight) on both of my vehicles, 300 5.7 and a Ranger Lariat. The Ranger has an AGM battery and my Battery Tender seems to help it too.

Found the dashcam I received as a gift years ago, used briefly before putting in the closet. I took it out and installed in the 300 several days back. Have a Ford/Thinkware device installed in my Ranger Lariat.

I let it sit in the driveway.... no movement today
Same here. Last drove 300 about 2 weeks ago for its bi-monthly top off of 93 E0, groceries, etc. 300 is up for driving duties tomorrow (local errands) so I'll connect a charger to top off the battery. Install new battery in my spare key fob....:)

Detail Shop phoned yesterday requesting I bring 300 over this morning so they could get started on the cleanup, ceramic coat prep work and application. Should be ready for pickup by Saturday at the latest.:) View attachment 91758
Update: Phoned shop - they finally finished 300 this morning. They want the car to sit indoors at their shop for the rest of the day to finish 'curing'. This is a dealer detail - cleanup shop that fills their spare time with outside customer's cars. Product? Simoniz Diamond Plate Ceramic Coating.

Update:

Picked up 300 from the detail shop - they had 300 for a week. Simoniz Diamond Plate Ceramic Coating applied. $900. Impressed. Dropped off my 2019 Ranger Lariat - White Platinum Tri coat - a one year only, $600 option - receiving the same treatment. Shop will need Ranger for a week - $1,300.

Both cars look great, the black has a deeper mirror-like shine. can be a DIY project or dealer is a must?
If one buys product from a manufacturer who doesn't require a shop/person licensed by the manufacturer then a knowledgeable person could certainly do it themselves. I will strongly advise to look at one of many youtube videos on the subject to see the amount of work necessary to do the job right.

Example: Cilajet only sells their ceramic/graphene product to people licensed by Cilajet. However, they will sell their recommended Cilajet cleaning products to anyone. According to my shop, being 'licensed' by Simoniz to use their ceramic product is completely optional and he isn't obligated to use the Simoniz product exclusively. Shop apparently buys product from whoever has the best active promotion at the time.

Yeah, the same shop will wash 300 when necessary. They've already stated they use a different soap/cleaner on ceramic coated cars than the normal street trade.
Edit: My previous Redfire Metallic 2005 Mustang GT had the previous generation Cilajet Acrylic Coating applied by the previous owner shortly after taking delivery.

I bought Mustang from him in 2011 with only 6,000 miles, totally immaculate - Mustang was garaged and covered almost continuously when not driven, which was often unfortunately - sad story.

I have no garage or carport. I hand washed Mustang and maybe waxed it once before using an automatic car wash (Autobell) for several years. I found the cleanup/detail shop I now use in late 2018. Paint was still immaculate when I sold the car in 2020 - these photos were taken about one year earlier.
