My boss wanted my wheels for his car... (Bentley GT Convertible)... He choose the brand. Great I have a contact for that brand...

Let's just say they were 3 weeks late.... put them on... a slow leak on all 4 tires... Christmas Day... Bentley has 4 FLAT tires... Flat bed the car to the wheel company... they told me one thing ... and then did another... so all weekend I get text's, Emails and phone calls from my boss wanting his car back... well not only did we take a 4 day weekend ... SO DID THEY!!!!!! Which I was told they were not going to do that... so it is TODAY... no car at this time... my contact person who told me that they would be at that place... is not there... and not returning any phone calls, voice mails or text mess...

Then on top of all of this... every 30 mins... my boss is calling me into his office... WHERE IS MY CAR! I HAVE TO HAVE IT TODAY!!!!

Plus I have to do my normal job... and that is talking to every F'N IDIOT in the world who thinks they know about installing our product... which they don't and are to cheap to have a professional do it...

Then approving owner's manuals, product stickers and gift boxes... did I mention, answering about 40 emails from those same IDIOTS about our products... I have had personally had over 65 calls from 8:30am today... I HATE LONG WEEKENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


So my HUGE bottle of GOOSE will be gone TONIGHT!!!!! Not that small 750ml thing either!!! The 1.5 Liter!!


Oh and I just get a call... the car will be ready to be picked up at 4:30PM... I hope AAA can get there in time...

Well my boss is a good man and he does small things for me... so I can't blame him...

and yes it is a bummer in Cam's words....

but I hope that by 6:00PM tonight... the car is back at his house... and tomorrow morning when he wakes up... the tires will still have air in them.

Without knowing your type of business or history, sounds like you did a fav for the boss and if he's wanting his car back so bad, perhaps he should call directly and take care of his own business. Then about the professional wannabe's calling you... I think every industry has that - just gotta laugh at them and realize them for who they are.


... but yeah, still crack open the bottle, but don't take it all - tomorrow's another work day.

Trust me Albert, I know how you feel. Always tough bein in a spot where u offer to help someone and sometimes things are out of your hands. I do maintenance work on some close friends' cars once in a while, and it always gets a little hairy if I end up getting delayed big time on waiting for parts.

I cant believe ALL 4 wheels were leaking though.... I dont get it? What the hell is causing that? Are they multi-piece wheels? Was it the tires? Thats crazy that all four of them were flat.... I just dont get it.

Hope it gets squared away soon though! And dont go drinkin away all the Goose just yet either.... you better save some for me at Spring Fest!!!

2-piece... the seal was checked four times... the stems were checked... the tires where checked... I have no idea... plus I think that place is not telling me what is going on... they are just feeding me one story after the next...

The car will be at his house tonight... I just talked to the owner of that wheel brand and he is personally taking to my boss's house...
