I'm sitting here in Fort Myers Airport with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. Our prayers go out to him and his family. I haven't been on in a while and I open to this. I can't put in to words right now my feelings. My wife and I are lucky our son came back. So many lost, so many lives changed. Our love and prayers to all of them

I just wanted to thank you for honoring my son, Cpl. Jamie Lindsey. I didn't know about your site until I googled Jamie's name. I was looking for newspaper articles to put in a memory book. I ran across Jamie's posts on your forum. It was not suprising that he found you though. From his very first car, an Integra, he worked to personalize it and make it his own. At his memorial service here in Florence, Alabama (his hometown), I included a picture I found of him in the "Teg" burning rubber with smoke all around him. All his friends commented that was the Jamie they knew.
Once again, thank you for paying tribute to my son. This would have meant a lot to him.

He is buried at Fort Richardson Cemetary. I'll be paying him a visit next week when I'm there.

Words do no justice.....is my usual feeling for such tragic deaths.

However, I am grateful that he found this place which proves me wrong.

It is truly generous of spirit....which found it's way to you. Those words he wrote must have been like a lost treasure....the tribute yet another.

With love and thanks for your family,

Alaskan Army brat

i talked to the wife a couple of months ago about FRI doing the car for her...............she was still not sure what she was going to do or why or how.

I told her we were easy to find and that the offer will stay on the board...........

Very very nice gal and thanks for the reminder.................I'll give her a call tomorrow.

Man, I just came across this thread. It really brings a lump in my throat. I was deployed at the same time as Cpl. Lindsey. It even hits harder because BMWDON asked him to check up on me because I had not been seen around here for a few months. Does anyone here know where about he was in Iraq? It is a strong possibility that I ran across him at one point or another. May God Bless him and his family and all of our soldiers.
