Just wanted to let everyone know that they make a kick ass cat back system! I installed mine 2 weeks ago and love it. Nice sound, not to loud and no drone while MDS is active. Let's not forget fully polished SS. Auto Anything has them for cheap.
One complaint.........where is my FREE T-SHIRT? Suppose to get one with my order but it never got delivered.

The Volant intake has worked out very well for me, i just gottaget one of those fancy new filters!!

Plus you can't get any other SS cat-back for $550 (from what I have seen). For less money than people pay for one of the other cat-backs I got the Volant plus Diablo tuner plus AFE 2 CAI.

Can't wait to get those shinny pipes installed.

Ordered mostly to LQQKOUT's review. Thanks for that!

I am considering doing the install myself also, but the garage floor sure is cold about now...my dealer and my regular mechanic both quoted me in the 2 hour range...midas was double the price of either of them.

The guy at midas was concerned that there isn't a spring bolt flange on the volant like there is on the left side stock pipes....seen any problems because of this?

How difficult was it to get the pipes removed from the cats? That was another thing the midas guy said would be difficult.

For you guys that have installed, how loud is this set-up when cruising on the highway? I have a permanent wife-o-meter in the car and need to keep it from being set off. You think drone is bad:roll::blah:

My R/T is a 07 so I did not have any problems removing the pipes. The clamps that come with the Volant kit are much better than the stock spring one. (my opinion) And I have not had any exhaust leaks do to them.
The noise is not bad at all. You can barely hear it until you go WOT, wife and kids (3&5yrs) don't mind it.

I think I will brave the cold floor and put the Volants on myself Saturday. I just don't think I can wait to get an appointment anywhere.

ug, no go on the install today. I can't get the car high enough to get to the cat section. Looks like a Tuesday dealer install.

Got it done!!!
My neighbor had a monster floor jack which got the wheels high enough to set on ramps. A couple of my daughter's high school friends did the install for me since I couldn't fit well enough to get at everything.

The whole install took under an hour for the 2 of them...My cost: Pizza, the old RT exhaust and a Caliber SXT exhaust.

The sound...precious.

This after being quoted 2 hours from the dealer and my regular shop and 3 hours at midas.

Just an FYI, I pulled the trigger on this one. The price was too much to pass up on. I would note for anyone else thinking of getting this system, don't wait too long. I had a hard time finding that price as most have jumped into the $800-$950 area. Just two weeks ago I saw E-Bay listings for $549 but no longer and most websites have increased as well.
