I'm installing a trans. temp. gauge, where is the best spot to tap in? Thanks!

Dunno, but that would be a GREAT thing to have. Currently, even with the Miller tool, you can't exactly read trans fluid level unless you can read trans temp with a StarScan. A temp gague, a miller tool and the level chart...

I'm gonna get my own dipstick and after I have a dealer check the level and I know it's ok, mark the level when cold, then hot.

Can one of those gauge deals that plugs into the OBDII port read the tranny temp? I know they can read other vitals. It sucks that the car is already pulling that information but won't share it!

I've heard that a great spot t put the sender is on the "outbound" cooler line. That will read a more true temp than the pan will. And you don't have to drop the pan to do it, which would be a nightmare on our cars due to the lack of a dipstick.

Keep us updated with pics!

Hokie.
