underhood foam rubbing engine cover

would this be a warranty issue? the foam had rubbed the paint off the plastic engine cover and is rubbing a whole in the foam under hood...

I had an issue similar, tirned out the engine cover was not on correctly. I put just a little silicone grease into the rubber parts where they slide onto the mounts with the ball looking things on top.
