This has nothing to do with LX's or even Dodges but you just have to give this guys his props for taking 3 years to fabricate a Hummer H1 body from scratch and mate it to an F150 frame!

The best quote in all 46 pages of this thread was, "would have been done sooner but had to learn welding first." Seriously! He fabricated the entire body from flat sheet metal and didn't even know how to weld when he started.

you got to be pulling my leg. looks like one of those car kits. looks like a real hummer for shore not a bummer. lol hats off to that guy. :rock: :kinglock: :pepper: :thumbs_u: what else can i say

While that is cool.... I cant see it being all that cheap to do. I mean sure, its cool as all hell to be able to say that you built it from scratch, but Ive gotta believe you could have bought one for the same if not less money than it took to fabricate, build, and assemble this beast. Gotta take opportunity costs into question here...

Either way, I think projects like these are extremely cool. Hats off to this guy!

Pretty impresive amount of work there.....I would like my mag in that color!
