I have my two original keys ( they still work, barely). When I get to the step of putting the new key in the sentry light never stops flashing and I don't get the chime after ten seconds as the manual says should indicate a successful setup. I have the remote start setup also, I have the feeling this is what is giving me trouble, but I don't know how to get around it. I tried setting the remote start to 30 second on delay and including it in the programing but have had no luck.

Key is reved to 05183348AA from original 56038751AE. I am hoping they are still compatible.

Sounds like a plan. I will give it a try when the Magnum comes home from NY.

My worry is that the remote start transmitter may need to be purged from memory before I can program any more keys.

i've had a few defective programming buttons. some tay open, some stay closed. if yours stays closed, it will try to program the interface module at the same time as the new key.

IIRC, the SKREEM can hold up to eight key programs. if you've reached the limit, you'll need a starscan to erase all keys and start over.

It seems to function ok. I tried at least 20 times in different sequences sometimes using the remote start as one of the good keys and sometimes just using the good keys. The owners manual says two keys are needed. If there are three keys, do you still only need 2?
