Hi guys,
Was just thinking about changing my transmission fluid and was wondering if I can use the Diablo to 'see' the transmission temp?? That way, with the use of the miller tool, I could be sure to get it re-filled correctly, and also monitor it very accurately to make sure it stays stable after replacing the O-rings too......
I looked at the Excel version fo the menu maps and couldn;t find it in there - but thought I'd ask just in case.....
Many thanks!!

I do not think it is there, the dataviewer app supports more pids than the predator so you might wanna check it with that.

The trans temp message is not in the pcm on nag 1 applications unfortunatly. Good rule of thumb is to have the vehicle at full operating temp and as long as you are between 60 and 80 mm on the Miller tool your fine.
Hope this helps

Thanks guys -bummer - but appreciate the help!
Also... Throw the Chrysler dipstick in the trash. Get the Mercedes-Benz dipstick. It is a much better tool.

Yepper, and to get to full operating temp (I monitor mine with the Dashawk) can certainly take 15 or 20 minutes, depending on the ambient temp.

The trans temp is part of the EVIC display for the 2008 Magnum SRT8s. Handy for a very small audience on the way out the door............
So please tell me more... Where do I look for it? What screen? Maybe I see it already and don't know what I'm lookin at.... BTW where exactly are you located in the Atlanta area? I'm in Woodstock.... Thanks for the info....
