I find the nod and smile method works best, especially when combined with a "yes dear".

I forget which comedian it was, but I remember hearing a bit about this. The best thing you can learn to do is the very first thing when you wake up in the morning, turn to your wife and say "I don't know what I'll screw up or when, but I'm sorry."

It's easy to argue with a woman. When she tells you how-when-where-what-why, you just agree with her 100% and wait for her to leave the room. Once she is out of hearing distance, you quietly say "NOT". You get the final word and you feel good inside. And what she doesn't know, won't hurt her.
my theory is the best.
Nothing a woman tells me is important to me, therefore every argument is irrelevant. Most arguments i treat as experiments to see what kind of reactions i can get. Usually i'll say what i know is the 'wrong thing' just for the lulz.
my triumphant moment was when i got an ex from screechingly furious to crying and defensive, to very affectionate in the span of 15 minutes
the worst that's ever happened is a woman then withholds her affection.....
which usually ends in das boot from me, a drunken weekend for me, and a new girl a week later.

I'm only 26 and I've learned through several relationships that communication is key. And if you don't care what they're saying... pretend that you do anyway. The resulting headache isn't worth trying to prove you're right.
We have two fundamental ways of thinking. Men are more logical, women tend to argue with emotion and therefore tend to become irrational. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. When utilizing logic-we tend to see things in absolutes... black-and-white. While this is good in certain types of arguments, sometimes an emotional spin on things is better. It all depends on the subject matter.
Knowing all this.... I just yes 'em to death. Works for me.
