If google has learned me anything in the past 10 minutes... it is my understand (via part numbers and google) that the stock BA amp is located right behind the drivers kick panel... ok. then attached to that is the TCM (according to p/n's). soooo if one has a car without the stock amp where and how is the TCM mounted??

I was thinking of disconnecting and removing the stock BA amp as I wont be needing it now :)

but the TCM is attached to it.

anyhelp??? pic maybe?

if I remember correctly (upgraded the amp a year ago), there is a bracket in which both the amp and the tcm is bolted to. And so, you can take out the amp and leave the tcm still bolted up.

The stock BA amp can only be properly removed after 15,000 miles. So you have another 2 years, 3 months, and 5 days until you can remove yours. My math could be off though....
