I started chatting about this on another thread, but fits better on its own thread now that’ll I have dug into it:

I am putting ‘07 MSRT seats into my ‘07 MRT
Driver side went in easy, no airbag light, power controls work.
Rear went in easy, no issues.

Passenger front:
My R/T is mechanical, the SRT is power.

I don’t care if it is power or not, just want seat in and working.
Started switching frames - took bottom cushions off, removed levers on sides, unclipped the cover and am ready to pull the cover off to swap foams and covers.

1) How do these headrest mounts come out?
2) Anything else I need to be aware of to swap foams and covers?

The seat back unbolts from the base and can be bolted to the new frame.

That's what I was hoping for, but the there was no hole for the screw that holds the recline lever, so it seemed the top frames had a little different mechanism, no?

Those can suck. You need to pull the seat cover up over the frame, move the cushion out the way and pinch the tabs at the bottom, then tap them up with a small plastic mallet.

, I can visualize what you are describing. Sounds ugly.

You can do what I did and run a power wire from the drivers seat to the passenger. My car didn't have the plug for the passenger side.

Is there a name for this style of bladed pins and their receptacles? Are they a universal system or a dodge thing?
I’d like to wire this up as clean and factory-looking as possible so want to find these without making a trip to Pick Your Part.
Looking online I see a lot of “Deutsch connectors” that look similar but the pins are cylindrical instead of bladed.
Advice appreciated!

…the reason I ask is the seat has a pin for the power wire but the body side does not. I’d like to get the corresponding female receptacle to put in the body side of the plug for power so I don’t have to chop onto the seat harness.

That’s the seat side of the connector I think the OP needs the female side?

Thanks for the help everybody. Like you all said, its not that hard. Found a junkyard plug - turned out to be a different 8 pin than mine, but I just removed the female receptor from inside and installed it into my body side plug (C314) to create a power lead, ran it under the carpet & console(good chance to do a deep clean) and tapped it into power on the drivers side.
Much easier than taking seats apart! It all works and nobody got hurt.
