All you need to do is unbolt the base and put it on the new seat. No need to swap foams.

The seat back unbolts from the base and can be bolted to the new frame.

That's what I was hoping for, but the there was no hole for the screw that holds the recline lever, so it seemed the top frames had a little different mechanism, no?


, I can visualize what you are describing. Sounds ugly.
You can do what I did and run a power wire from the drivers seat to the passenger. My car didn't have the plug for the passenger side.

Pretty sure, I don't have the car to go reference. Just use a multimeter to find the power wire to the drivers seat. I tapped into it and ran a wire across under the console.

You'll also need to ground the passenger seat, I think I just grounded it to it's own seat frame but I don't remember.
