We will have one of 75 Super Bee Chargers in by the end of the month... This is going to be a seriously low volume monster!! I thought i might mention it here first and give members the first oportunity to grab this rare vehicle. Being the biggest performance shop on the block has it's perks and this is just one of them! We've got more rare machines on the way!

wow! that is really cool!

The 1971 Super bee charger.... if my memory serves correct... was not the TOP OPTION - it was more a stripped down RACER VERSION meant to weigh less and go faster with less 'luxury' (ie AC power widows etc.)... The top Charger was a RT... back in the day...

Where does this modern Super Bee fall in the line ? Between RT and SRT8? Or is it above SRT8?

I LOVE the wheels!!!! SRT8 style.. without THE SRT8 LOGO!!! (or on second inspection... is there any logo on the wheels?) PLEASE tell me they are forged 20 inch wheels!!!! I want them for my MRT!!!!

(from DaimlerChrysler Press Release) The 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee is the first special edition of the "Charger on steroids" from Chrysler Group's Street and Racing Technology (SRT). It features "Detonator Yellow" exterior color with black hood and deck-lid face, Super Bee logos on front and rear fenders, and contrasting yellow stitching on the seats, steering wheel and shift knob.

Powered by the SRT-engineered 6.1-liter HEMI® V-8 producing 425 hp (317 kW) and 420 lb.-ft. (569 N•m) of torque, the Dodge Charger SRT8's powertrain represents a new level in HEMI performance, with 85 additional horsepower - 25 percent more than the 5.7-liter HEMI.

Other SRT enhancements include functional, performance-oriented styling, world-class ride and handling, race-inspired interior appointments and benchmark braking. All together, the 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee is capable of 0-60 mph in the low 5 seconds, 0-100-0 in under 17 seconds and 60-0 mph braking in approximately 110 feet.

The legendary Super Bee nameplate made its debut in 1968 within the Dodge Coronet line. As the newest member of Dodge's "Scat Pack" performance group, the '68 Super Bee originally carried an MSRP of just over $3,000. It was offered as a Dodge Charger only in its last model year, 1971. Restored examples fetch between $80,000 - $100,000 today.

The 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee is the latest edition of the ultimate American muscle sedan, and will be available in dealerships this fall. Pricing has not yet been announced.

I almost wish I had waited for this baby, makes my Top Banana look so plain and no I am not interested in imitating something I don't have.

Any idea on pricing for the SuperBee? I'm thinking probably mid 50's ?

I'd love to trade in my Top Banana for that, but I don't think I would find anyone willing to take over the lease.

Could you post a message when you do get the SuperBee on the lot, cause if the price is in range, I might try getting rid of the TB.

Thanks
Scott

My local dealer (USA) has one and the sticker is $42k something... no mark-up, but don't expect it to be discounted either. See this thread for details (but no pictures... didn't have my camera). It may already be sold... will confirm tomorrow.
