I agree. I ended up with too many interdependent parts in my setup (dp+fogger plate+dblocks+six solenoids+two 15 lb. bottles, + well, you get the idea). When fuel delivery failed to one bank, I burned six plugs, two pistons and blew a nice firey explosion out the intake. Amazingly, though, after all that plus 27,000 miles and probably 150 runs down the 1/4 mile and setting the record for the mile, the motor looked in excellent shape after tear down. Well, except for the stuff that burned up.
But if you want consistent low 11's or high tens and are willing to pay for the driveline pieces (including the tranny) a stroker with juice is the most cost effective and tunable way to get there.
