I have been chasing down some electrical issues. Got a new battery and have a new alternator going in. Both had gone bad.

Recently got donewiring in and installing a 6.4 manifold.

I have just noticed that there seems to be a very quiet tan behind the stereo that is constantly running, even with the car completely off and nothing turned on.

Has anyone had this? It’s a 2010 challenger rt classic, it has the factory CD player with thetouchscreen nav and the hard disc.

Just a thought but it may be the cd drive continuing to run, my 07 Ram used to do that. AFAIK, there isn't a fan on the head unit.

May be for cooling down the radio equipment. It may also have a timed delay on operation. I would see how long it runs for before jumping to conclusions.
