I'm glad that they're adding another color option for the SRT.
I've done some research on the 07 SRT & can not find anything confirming that they're putting a functional hood scoop on the Magnum SRT.
Does anybody have any real information regarding the hood scoop?

that blue is Marine Blue.

While the Caliber site shows a steel blue, I do not beleive its actually available.

Sorry for re-posting the same 2007 300C SRT8 photo - but I wanted to point something out. It's the same photo that Road & Track used in it's October '2007 Cars' issue. But the photo is too small in R&T to see it.

Is it just ME [and MY eyes] or are the entire door/window frames now 'chromed'?!

PS As for 'Steel Blue' - my 2001 Jeep TJ [That's 'Wrangler' to you Americans!!] was 'Steel Blue'. A nice colour - but not all that different from 'Silver Steel'. [At least to my eyes]

Hi Cda Craig-- the pics I posted are from the DCX media site - so that is probably where R+T got them too.

The sharpies out there will note that these are probably not pictures of actual 2007 cars -- they are likely color changes using photoshop(or similar) of prior year cars. For example the lower middle nose facia on the 300C SRT changed I think, late 2006, but the old one is shown above. And the magnum pic is the exact same stance as one used previously by DCX with I think a red car.

Exactly right. This pic below will look familiar. Silver tends to over-expose easily so when it's recolored, the over-exposed trim looks more like chrome against the darkened body:

I don't like the Steel Blue on the Caliber (local dealer has one), but it doesn't look bad on the Mag.
