I'm gonna order my replacement grill (complete- crosshairs & honeycomb insert) sometime in the next 48 hours & I need to make a decision quickly...

IF there is only one difference b/w the 2 grilles (the only difference as I understand it to be is the color of the crosshairs is either flat-black/painted black), then I was wondering which do you all find more attractive on a Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Charger??

I guess the one thing I'm looking for above all is some PIC's!!...One of a Black Charger with the Daytona & one with the SRT8 grille.

I think the painted black will look better on a Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Charger. If you get it flat black then it just look outa place. The flat black works on brightly colored car and also it matches the Spoilers and decals of the Daytonas.
Go for SRT grille.

Is there a particular part # to order a daytona black crosshair?
Will it fit my R/T?

Yes, that looks hot on the red!!!
I would have gone that route if mine was red, but IMO, the flat black on the brilliant black, doesnt look as good

Find someone with an SE with the color-matched crosshairs and get the Daytona inserts... JMO. When I was considering the R/T upgrade, my color-matched grill was coming with me...

I have a Stone White R/T.
I think the Daytona's Matte Black would look very nice on white rather than the painted IMO.
The price of the crosshair and grille from the dealer was 215 bux.
Anyone ordering it from somewhere other than the dealer at a better price?

The matte black would offset the white, but I didn't want to buy a new crosshair piece. I don't think the stock chrome really goes well with the white. Now the black with the chrome crosshairs looks sharp. It offsets the color enough. I would think that the matte black on a black car might look a little off up close.

I wonder if it would look out of place with a Daytona lip spoiler too. The tires sort of blend with it too? Hard to picture.

I just put the brillant black on my r/t... ( 2 weeks ago) sorry no pics...got it brand new on e-bay it's from a texas mopar store $155 plus shipping $179 total... I think the painted looks soooooo much better than the chrome. also I considered the flat black like you did but just didn't think it would look right against the brillant black... get it painted you'll love it.....chris

Wouldn't the SRT and the SE have the same painted crosshairs? Wonder if there is a price difference?

I have the Daytona style grille on my brilliant black Charger and it doesn't look out of place at all.. Flat black seems to accent the front end and set it off. I also have the flat black chin spoiler as well as the Daytona R/T emblem which I painted flat black as well... take a look, I get great comments all the time about it, a lot of people really like the offset.
