Any suggestions on a place to stay..or stay away from? .. Seeing as this will be my third (ever) snowboarding trip with my better half (Diane) and we're really trying to get a vacation this year.... :roll:

any suggestions, for this area let me know!

I have always gone to Park City myself.... Been itchin to go back too, but can't swing it again this year..

I always just stay somewhere cheap, I figure I am only there to shower and sleep anyway, but I'm sure you and Diane don't want to stay in a dump.

Basically I am saying.. .. I got nuthin.

yeah... we're squeezin' blood out of turnips to be able to go. Frequent flier milage saved us on the plane fare. :roll:

Actually... we have been fortunate to find some pretty cheap and really cool places on the last two trips... Diane does the homework ... calls, reading reviews, etc... :rock: Last one in whistler was un=-effin-believable! hot tub right in the room with a view of the mountains for less than 120 per night!! We about poooped ourselves when we walked into the room. Bags hit the floor, and we .... well... this IS a family-type forum. :mrgeen:

Anyways... I was hoping to find some folks here that have been just as lucky with a hotel in that area...

I'm in the Salt Lake Valley, and I'm here to tell ya, there ain't nothin' cheap in Park City. Yeah, it's got fantastic skiiing/boarding, but you pay dearly for it. Wish I could be more help to ya, but Park City really is about the most expensive place you could stay/ski. Park City has the highest real estate prices in the state. My favorite places to ski are Alta and Snowbird. Not exactly *cheap*, but not nearly as pricey as Park City. Snowbird and Alta both have very nice accomodations, too.
