How hard or easy is it to do this install for the average person?
Any special tools needed to remove the existing skirts or put on the new ones?
Anything special to be aware of or to watch out for such as clips that might easily break or......

nope it is a piece of cake as long as you get all the clips you need to replace the ones that you have to break to take off the old rockers. 4 rivets that you have to drill out (2 front 2 back) then pull the old one off. i have heard that some of the fronts have a little problem going on so they need a little shaving done to fit just right. i didnt have that problem so it might be a case by case thing.

nathan- can't unless you tube frame the car, there's a unibody seam right behind the rocker that you really shouldn't cut :-(

Ok just to show you get what I want, I'm bringing up the past. It only took me almost 3yrs to the date of asking this install question but I finally got them in my hands. But they haven't made it home yet, I'm waiting for the wife to work late and then they magically appear in the garage.

And for those of who have them on, since the opening does seem to be a couple inches lower then the current sides couldn't you make an exhaust that is rectangular that would not hang any lower then the grip rocker? You are coming out the hole of the rocker and the bottom of the rocker hangs lower so if you are worried about hitting the exhaust on the ground you have to hit the rocker so you are already screwed.

Can't wait for everything else to come in so I can get these painted.

Never give up your dreams people.:thumbs_u:
