This is not of me - but of my best friend - been doing it about 10 years so far - went in at 17 and has seen / done more I ever could. 5 deployments and gearing up for another in the coming months.

I'm honored to call him my friend.

Very Cool!

This was so cool to see this on here. I too am a ComCam guy. I know a place that shirt would forever be on display and shown to all those that will follow in our foot steps. I'm actually an instructor at DINFOS now teaching the craft.

Thank you for your service!

A couple of months ago I found my original combat shirt I had from Viet Nam service in 1969-1970. The collar is a little "frayed" now ~ LOL~

And YES, or squadron insignia was a "Pregnant Rat"!!!

I have actually had military collectors try to buy this shirt from ME; but it means MORE to ME than it every could to them....!

My son Jared after graduating jump school two weeks ago.

Last January after graduation from Navy EOD school.

I also happen to be a graduate of NAVSCOLEOD (just over 8 years ago) one of the most challenging schools out there :thumbs_u: I congratulate him!

That was a pretty BA "Combat Jump" you guys made into OIF 1  I know the guys on ground were thrilled to secure the area so 82nd could jump in

I hear ya, but it was the 173rd making that useless jump. Got quite a few friends with their mustard stain for a "Combat Jump". I lol every time they tell the story!!

Thanks for the kind words! You can see more pictures of our squadron on the internet at "601st.com".

NOW.....
If I could only get the VA to help me pay my medical bills from Agent Orange! Been fighting them for SIX YEARS NOW. I have had seven heart surgeries and also went through six weeks of radiation for prostate cancer all caused by Agent Orange. I have NO HEALTH INSURANCE and cannot get any due to my illnesses. Currently disabled and paying the VA $200 a month to stay ALIVE!!!
