We after a long day driving 6 hours round trip to see a Black Magnum that was too good to be true I went back to the first dealer and haggled for about an hour and just before 5pm yesterday I signed for her. The black one had been smoked in it had some significant scratches, the front leather was well worn and cracking... overall it was a well used car.

So my Magnum will be 2005 RT (12/04 Build) 52,000KM loaded with everything but Navi. It was in great condition felt solid and tight everything fit perfectly. The only down side was peeling of the silver on all of the wheels and the handle on the rear storage cover was broken.

I won't get her until Tuesday since they have a small dent in the passenger side front door to repair and a strange shimmy that shows up at 110-115KPH. I'm buying it from the original dealer that sold it and got them to print out the full service history on her. Tie Rod ends, PCV, Oil Change, and air filter were all done within the last 2000KM. They didn't do the 50K service and the inspection report shows only 30% rear pad left so I might need to do both of those this spring.

I'm super stoked, my wife loves the car.. happy to get a new one since I'm taking hers as trade and she gets my 07 GTP G6.

I'll post pictures when I can get the off my iphone!

I'm so excited to have a car I'm interested in again!!!! Now what mod first???

Congrats man, first mod.... Diablo predator, hands down. You probably noticed the lack of control when you use the auto-stick. The diablo will clear that right up.

congrats and there is still warrentee on the car up until 60 000km so get them to re clear coat those rims i did and they look amazing and get them to do an inspection also on every little thing
and you look also make sure the clear coat isn't pealing, or anything seriously take advantage of that

enjoy the new toy

Congrats!

Exhaust, tune, and a new grill were the first and only mods I did. I get compliments all the time on how well she sounds. Never gets old!! :)

Since you are in the NOTL area maybe try and setup a time with Fargo69 to slide it by and have him give it a once over..

Gratz on the ride and welcome aboard.. Hope to see you at M&G's soon..

Congrats, and I must say; you made the right choice based on color alone...

Make em do a complete inspection of the front end, then a 4 wheel alignment or at least verify that alignment is on the money. Shimmy is not normal, (could be tie rod ends or ball joints) Then she should be steady as a rock. Enjoy her!

Don't forget about the 7yr 70,000 mile drive train warranty on the 05s. I don't think it transfers to the new owner automatically. Check to see what has to be done to transfer the warranty to you.
The dealer told me that I had drive train until 100,000KM but the 3/60K expired in May. Nothing had to be done other than I filled out a sheet to change the listing for Chrysler Canada.
