I am requesting if anyone knows the name and size/type of tool/socket that is needed to remove a seat bolt from the floor on a Charger SRT8. It is a bolt with a head that looks similar to a torques (sp?) head but the socket needs to be female.

I appreciate it.

Not sure which bolt you are talking about, but I used regular sockets when I replaced all of my seats. No special tool needed.

I was just advised that if I removed the seats I will need to go to the dealer to have the airbags recalculated. Anyone have any comments on this?

Mine did not need to be recalibrated. Just make sure you do not sit the seats on the sensors while removed.

Thanks, I will be careful. Does anyone know if the seat connectors are a direct fit? BTW, I am doing the opposite, I am putting and R/T seat in my SRT temporarily-yes I know what you are thinking!!! LOL Oh, and I am not selling the SRT seats.

I am going to swap the seat that I bought from Big D and I will update what happens with the airbags.
