So every morning here in New Brunswick it has been below 0 degrees celsius and from within the car only I hear what sounds like exhaust when not going through my muffler, however it is coming from the area right behind the engine. My dealer could find no exhaust leaks and it does stop the noise after the car is running for about 5 minutes. I wondered if it might be transmission or drive shaft as I can only hear it inside the car.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

I have the same noise, had the dealer replace the exhaust gasket once under warranty and now it is there again with a service center wanting $400.00 to do the work. Had it to the dealer right before warranty expired and they said it was fine.

Warped exhaust manifold. Times 2.
