first off im keeping it!! i did a search and found 90 ways to lose it. unfortunately in the northeast its necessary. when i hit the rear wiper button it seems like its on a delay, about every 20 seconds. it cant be normal, and also there was no owner's manual when i bought it so i dont know if there are any delays etc with the rear wiper.

The wiper is on a delay. When you hit the spray button it will swipe 3 times (I think) and then stop. I usually just hit it once and turn it back off again.

rear wipers have a fixed 10 second delay.

On my Pacifica you can run the wiper continuously, but I never do as it does not get dirty that fast.

Needing the rear wiper is debatable, it's actualy usefulness is not debatable. Therefore needing it is superfluous...
