I just received my predator, and went to install it on my 05 300c. I had to do the download for it to work. When I finished the download to the car I installed the 91 octane tune. When I started the car after installing it was running real rough and the check engine light came on. It has a code p1411 now. I tried to reinstall the stock tune and it was doing the same thing. I tried to install the 91 octane tune again, but still the same thing. I put the stock tune back in and have the same issues. Any ideas?

P1411 is a code for cylinder reactivation simply put Your Mds system not turning back on. Did you install the tune, then drive it and this occured or did you just install the tune start it up and it was misfiring?? In my experience that code is caused by a bad lifter. You could have the pcm flashed at the dealer and it would totally return the pcm to factory and see just to rule that out. I would be real suprised if the predator caused the problem.

I had just driven to pick up my usb to serial adapter that I did not receive with the predator like I was supposed to, but that is another story for a different time. The car ran fine the whole time. As soon as I started it after doing the install it was running rough.
I just got my car back from the dealer and they said there was a problem with the calibration. They flashed the computer and everything is fine with it. It cost me 85 bucks when I didn't have anything wrong with the car before I started. I am on hold with diablosport right now. I hope I get through before they close. When I talked with Mike from there yesterday he said there was no way that the update I got form there website could have caused my problem. What does everyone else think?

Well I got it to load the predator tune. It says I need an update to the tcm to get to access some of the transmission modes. I just loaded the 91 octane tune for now until I get some different fuel in it. I am really surprised no one from diablosport responded to this thread. I never did get anyone to answer the other day. I was on hold from 6:00 till 6:30 eastern time. They said tech support was open till 6:30. Maybe they left early.

hey timmy, not thinking about it i called on a holiday and was on hold for about 45 minutes. i assume they leave the automated answering system on which led me to believe that someone was actually going to answer. other than that, my customer service was great with diablo and i really like the product.
