Pedders parts prices are changing any day! Act now
Just a heads up. pete and deb are working on the price changes as I type and will be posted possibly tomorrow or the next day. So if you are on the fence about anything, today is the day to do it. We did a serious price reduction for December. The December sales were substantial and they have just finished the processing of the orders. The prices listed right now, still reflect the December sales prices.

thanks and have a great 2009

How about leaving those prices permenant? Much more reasonable IMO... If you got so much more business with the December 'discounts', then imagine how much more revenue you'd get with prices set at those levels? hmmmm...?

We will be offering potential price discounts on systems, but the individual parts will go back to 2008 prices in most cases

I have to agree....i could not afford to at the time but I would have purchased the track 2 kit at the price you had it advertised.....I think you would overall do better with sales for the year if you could afford to maintain those prices...just my .02 cents

I hate to be 'that guy' to cosign my own point but... x2.

I think your products are in a bit of a unique category in that the labor costs (for many of those 'hard-to-get-to' bushes & packages alike) approach & sometimes exceed the sum of the parts. You must factor in labor when calculating your products final cost to the customer. If you look at it that way, from the customer's perspective -many of who barely scrounged up the money to get one of your kits in the first place- To be hit with a labor cost that damn-near equals the price of what they just paid... that extra little discount in pricing could mean the difference between a go or a no-go.

Indeed, as you know I seriously considered a Track II Bush kit but one call to one of your certified installers... and the labor charge kinda walloped me. An excellent market offering no doubt (especially for these land-yachts), but your prices for what us lay-men can only see as such itty-bitty little things are still very restrictive.

And train more people!!! so that the ones who are trained know there's options for us consumers looking for installs. And who knows... maybe we'll start seeing some competitive install rates.

Keep dem prices down! :sosayweall:

...so i can get my damn kit...

labor on a LX Track II is intense. It is about 15 hours or so of work. With approx 42 bushings to replace, some of them are not easy, are intense.

what I can do for those that have the ability to remove components, i can install the bushes into the individual bushes into the components. Then you can install the parts yourself.

I have been slowly gathering some Pedders bushings for the last month, for 2 LX vehicles. if the prices go up, ill probably have to postpone, minimize, or cancel the work i was planning on doing to these cars this spring.

personally, a Pedders price increase would be bad news for me, and would definitely make me look towards other products.

For almost a month, we reduced our prices for a December special. Prices are now starting to go back to Nov 08 levels. There were dozens of posts and heads up on it. I am sorry if you did not take the opportunity to take advantage.

I think our complete systems, however, will still be at significant discounts. It will be the individual parts that will go back to the original levels

The bold above should tell you guys everything you need to know about your market. If you want to sell aftermarket auto parts in a down economy, you need to price them accordingly.
