ok, hopefully I am wrapping up my list of newb questions! :baby: you have been so awesome...

but I have a question about the R/T vs. R/T

i have a 06 charger with the R/T emblem on the back, but i understand there was a R/T package that took you from 340HP to 350HP... but having an 'R/T' didn't necessarily mean you had the R/T package?

is anybody else confused? I got mine used, so never got the privilage of seeing the original config on the window sticker, so not sure what all I got, can a dealer get this info? or is there a way online to get your original config using the VIN?

Another visible trait is I believe the dish of the wheels are black, while the spokes are polished.

I don't think you have the Road & Track addition.

I believe that the 4th character would be an "L" if you had the Road & Track.
Unfortunately you have a "K"

my 4th character is a K, and the Daytona package is an extended Road & Track I believe

When I checked the inventory and compared stickers, the RT's and Daytonas 4th character was a "K."
When I found one with Road & Track, the 4th character changed to a "L"

I went looking for decoding these things, you wouldn't think it was so hard LOL

Also, you would think you could go to the Dodge website, but I've had no luck

4th to 8th characters- Identifies vehicle features such as body style, engine type, model, series, etc.
I still think the "L" is the factor. RT's and Daytona share the "K", but the R&T that I found had a "L" That's my final answer! Lol

My 06 Charger is a r&t for sure. Black pockets in the wheels, srt8 front buckets, the manual shift mode holds the trans in gear when the gas pedal is floored. Also, the 4th character in the vin# IS an L. Hope this helps.
