I installed a MDS on light over the weekend. I noticed that over 90 deg it does not come on. Does the MDS not come on when it is over 90 out. I didnt have the AC on, and drove normally. Just wondering if I have a temp short or it is a DC design thing.

MDS should work. It was near 100 today and I heard mine kick in and out on the way to work.

It's hot as hell here... I don't have a MDS light but was gettting 28mpg @ 60mph.

Well over 100 here for the last week. MDS works just fine.

The wife and I drove up to Lake Tahoe last weekend and my temp gauge showed from 110-115 degrees...yes that 110-115F, and I could hear her kickin in.
I was actually quite impressed that I averaged 22.4MPG, in that heat driving 75-90 with cruise control, and I climed a 7500 foot mountain!

Thanks for the fast replies. I had time to eat dinner and do some trouble shooting, looks like it is the LED itself, back to Radio Shack.

That does sound like good MPG, all things considered. :thumbs_u:
