Okay so its been over a 2 weeks and my car is still in the shop due to the chip in my key being burnt out. Now the dealership installed a new SKIS (sentry key immobilizer system) and SKREEM (sentry key remote entry electronic module). Now they are saying the system will not reset and they do not know what they need to disconnect and reconnect to have the system reset. Anyone have any idea about this situation?

did they try to leave the key on (engine off) for minimum 1 hour. this usually resets it. they'll need to hook up a battery charger to maintain battery voltage. if voltage drops too low, they'll have to start over.
